Ok, so you could say our pets are special here...some may say they are part human in the way they act...I think just spoilt and loved! They are all a big part of our farmstay experience and love meeting all our guests. So I will introduce them to you.......

They love a walk and especially their treat afterwards!

OUR DOGS!

Blacky: she is a cross between a Kelpie and Border Collie and is about 12 years old. She is our main work dog and very good at it. Blacky is the so called 'top dog' and she makes sure that the others know that. She has a beautiful nature and loves a pat.

Barney: he is a Golden Retriever and is nearly 9 and likes to think he is a work dog but he definetly isn't...he literally will walk through a mob of sheep (we have taught him not to chase them). He has the kindest nature and a real gentleman...he will even shake your hand on demand.

Peggy: she is a cross between a Kelpie and Border Collie and Blacky is her great Aunt! She is 18 months old and has A LOT of ENERGY! She is in training to be a work dog but to be honest she is more of a pet....she loves people throwing a stick or ball to her, she could do this all day! She is adorable and is a very bright dog with a lot of potential.

HORSE and SHEEP!

Poppy: she is going on 13 years old and is a beautiful white mare. She has been with us for about 5 years and the girls do ride her every now and then. She has a beautiful temperament and loves anyone feeding her and giving her attention. You can feed her by hand, if you wish.

Tilly and Nibbles: well these 2 are twin sheep and are about 21/2 years old. They are seriously so spoilt and overweight...they do often go on diets! They love to be fed pellets from your hand and I can assure not all sheep are like these two. I can pat them on their cheeks and they close their eyes...

Now the relationship between Poppy, Tilly and Nibbles is quiet rare...Poppy is definetly the mum and is the protector. She gets very upset when they have to be shorn in October....runs around the paddock and is not a happy horse. Things all change once they are back together.

RABBIT:

Bonnie: she is only about 5 months old and is a white Albino. She is our little princess and loves to have a cuddle. She eats a lot...I can't believe how much they do. She loves people...

CHOOKS:

So we have 2 chook pens. There is 1 in front of 28 gates and guests are welcome to feed them their food and scraps and collect the fresh eggs... yum! The eggs are so much nicer when they are fresh and the yolks are so yellow. We also have chooks at our house for our own eggs.

PIG:

Very excited to say that we are getting a pig in the next couple of months, so watch this space....
