The simple façade of 28 gates hides a secret luxury experience within. Still simple, the interior luxury lies with pure quality and understated beauty - a reflection of the landscape outside. Polished floors made from Tasmanian timbers, comfortable leather sofas, the finest bed linen, cosy wood-fire and free-standing bath looking out to a country sky which would astound weary shearers and delight discerning travellers.
At 28 gates, our quality farm stay accommodation over two floors sleeps up to six people, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas and a fully appointed kitchen, but this is just the beginning…
Included in the price are: breakfast provisions, home-baked cake and bread, a complimentary bottle of still or sparkling wine on arrival, a short farm tour, fishing and special treats on arrival. The pantry is also stocked well with provisions.

Spinning fishing rods are available for hire, making it easy for guests to enjoy a relaxing day by the lakes, whether you are an experienced angler or trying fishing for the first time: $50 for 1 rod for the day.

Airport pick up and drop off transfers are available, making your journey to and from 28 gates easy and stress-free: $200 one way up to 4 guests.

Farm cooked meals
We are excited to provide delicious farm-cooked meals made by Susie. Using fresh, local and Tasmanian produce where possible. We can provide a variety of hot meals, lunch boxes for a day out walking or fishing, and private sunset picnics.
